Mosaics are a recent endeavor, begun in 2008. The use of semi-precious stones and stained glass, balancing color and texture, allowing shimmer and radiance to be a part of my work makes for a beautiful addition to my palette. This medium fulfills my desire to create beauty with precise order, opening to larger than life archetypal patterns. My first mosaic was "The Dawning". And the grace and light that was captured was so amazing to me that I have continued to create with this dazzling and inspiring medium.
